A One Size Yoyo pocket nappy with one large microfibre insert and one single layer bamboo towelling insert will give you a good trial. The gusset on the leg is a leak guard allowing you to boost up your nappy without changing the leg fit. It is a very reliable, work horse nappy that has been very popular for over 6 years. I make velcro closures and snap closures. I also make newborn, small, medium, Large and the One Size with adjustments on the front. I also make a One Size with a small gusset for the babes with skinny legs.

The snaps on the front waist don’t all have to be done up if your baby is a wriggler. You can do the two outside snaps up and not worry about the inside ones making it 2 snaps on each wing to do up. You can overlap them to make a small fitting waist. They grow with baby as you extend the waist, the leg becomes bigger taking baby thru to toddler stage.

The small size will fit from 2 months to 1 year on a small baby.

The One Size will take baby from 4 kg to toddler.

The large will take baby from 10kg to over 20kg.

Don’t give up on cloth nappies if you have had a bad experience.

It is the amount of absorbency in the nappy and the different combination of fabrics that make cloth nappies successful. Its your choice. Trial this system and check it out before you buy a stash of them.
