70% Bamboo/30% Hemp.

This new fabric is thicker than other absorbent fabrics. It is 450gsm. The mix of bamboo and hemp makes the fabric very durable and ideal for the heavy use in cloth nappies.

The YoYo Pocket Nappies and Yoyo Covers need insert(s) in the pocket to absorb liquid. These inserts are then removed for easy washing and drying. Inserts can also be placed in fitted nappies when extra absorbency is needed. I have 4 types of absorbent fabrics for sale. I make boosters, doublers, prefolds and double layer inserts with combinations from all the absorbent fabrics. The price indicates the weight of the fabric.

Microfibre Inserts, a highly absorbent fabric holding up to 8 times its weight in liquid. Hemp Fleece Inserts, a healthy, anti fungal, anti microbial natural fabric which is very hard wearing and absorbent. Bamboo Towelling Inserts, which is also antibacterial and is a 100% sustainable organic crop. Used together, Microfibre and Bamboo are the best combination, next to Microfibre and Hemp another unbeatable combination for absorbency. Drying time differs depending on gsm weight of fabric. Obviously the heavier the gsm (grams per square metre) the thicker and more absorbent the fabric will be for absorbing liquid in your cloth nappy. Depending on where you live or the drying methods you use, some fabrics take longer than others to dry.
